Possibly, but it could also be a worn bearing in the transaxle, which should be checked first, such as the outboard bearing that supports the inner CV Joint. Either or both sides could be at fault, or it could be the inner joint as well. Usually an inner joint will make a clunk sound that you may also feel through the steering wheel if you hit a bump going down the road straight. If worn enough, you might even hear it when bouncing the corner of the car at a standstill.

Grab the inner joint and check for latteral or up and down play. If you can hear it, but not see it move, the transaxle is likely okay. If you see an oil leak, that may be your suspect. If the transaxle bearings are okay,

My 2011 Highlander has a U151E transmission. It has a trans whine starting at 60 km/h speed, goes away if you back off the accelerator or go into Neutral.

Its probably not trans. More than likely its coming from a ring/pinion. Normal wear and tear will cause a slight excess increase in play producing a gear whine. One way to reduce it is to use a thicker gear oil. 85-140 weight should reduce or eliminate at.

I have a Nissan Murano the gear shudder when I engage the gear when moving forward it goes away after it reaches 60km.What can the problem be?

If this is a manual transmission then you need to have your clutch replaced the disc and flywheel are heat damaged. The other possibility is you have an engine cylinder misfiring but that would turn on a flashing check engine light.

Audi a4 20t fsi

steering problems at speed is attributable to incorrect wheel alignment from worn suspension and steering assemblies. Have the front end checked out and have a wheel alignment done as it is most likely a castor wobble ( negative castor angle from sagged springs )

Shutter at 55-60km/hr

Well, now I see your other post. AT 55-60, huh? Since you changed trans. fluid, are you thinking it may be trans. related? That's about speed when lock-up torque converter would engage. Not sure about your '05, though. Course that may be shifting into overdrive, too. Might try driving in 3rd gear up to 60 and see if shudder develops then. Good luck.

Automatic "Tiptronic" type shifter will not go into drive (and sometimes park) when warm.

where ever any common mechanic is trying to convence you have got 2stop. make sure your car gets looked at by an audi tiptronic specialist make sure you get them to sign the actual diagnostics and the codes to match the repairs if logical but remember " tiptronic transmission" your problem it'll star with the selector assimbly

2006 Jetta TDI Tiptronic Maintenance

The tiptronic is not the DSG - two separate transmissions. You don't need to service the tiptronic every 40k like you do the DSG.
VW considers the fluid in a Tiptronic tranny as "lifetime" fluid - it doesn't need to be changed.

Car jerks

need to make sure the rotor are not warped and you do not have a bad drive axles and also be sure to check the fluid in the transmission and you do not have a bad tire on it.

Transmission shudder

I had a similar problem on my 93 Accord after I accidentally threw the car in reverse at 50 mph, obviously wrecking the transmission. When I got it rebuilt I was told the transmission pump was to blame (clogged with "shrapnel"). I, and your car manual, recommend taking the car in to get the tranny looked at. Especially considering you just had the fluid changed which is what would normally cause the problems you are describing.
