SOURCE: 1998 Audi A6 Wiper Motor Removal Process

Hi Marc,

We have a 2002 Audi A6 and I've just been doing a bit of self help to try and fix the inoperative wiper - the problem is one of the spindles on which ht ewiper arm sits is stuck - I managed to bang it out, grease it and put it back - but I just can't get the wipers positioned properly so that they sweep and park correctly - anyhow, back to your problem which presumably you have sorted by now? There are 3 clips fixing the cowl to the vehicle - one on the left, the centre and on the right hand side - the clips simply pull away but it is easier to do if you have a long nose pliers.

Good luck

ps my email is [email protected] so don't reply to this email address.

Sounds like it would a issue around the motor to arm assembly.Maybe a adjustment.Pull both wiper arms off...then move them down.Try them again...Then adjust if needed..

I need to replace the windshield wiper blade

The 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan takes 28" wiper blades on both sides front and a 18" rear wiper. See related links below for more information. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

How do i replace the window shield wiper blade

The 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

Windsheild wiper arm on drivers side is off track ,how do i fix it?

Let the wiper work with the blades pulled out of the glass. Now switch off and allow it to park. You can now see the difference in the lefft /right parking.
Remove the arm mounting from the knurlings and set it back to fall just into the correct slot at the bottom of the glass beading.
A corrrection can also be done onthe park switch within the motor assembly but this seems easier.

Replacing wiper motor all went well untill the arms bound on each other what is the correct way to put the arms so they work properly

Leave arms off until the wiper motor has been allowed to complete a run and park cycle.
After turning off wiper switch (and wiper motor has 'parked'), then attach wiper arms - setting their position to the normal parked position.
