HI am looking inf. to set the timing chain on 99 chevy silverado 2500 6.0L Apreciate all the inf.
SOURCE: i need to know the timing chain specs for a 2001 chevy tracker?
i have done a few timing chains, you should go get a manual so you can go back and reference when you need to. I can tell you this "do not" move the cam or crank when the belt or chain is off. Hope it helps

SOURCE: i need to set the distributor timing
These vehicles have to have the timing set while hooked up to a diagnostic computer as they are self setting once they have been zeroed with the diag, computer. if you try to set it on your own you will just be fighting the vehicles control module (computer)
SOURCE: my 99 chevy silverado power window stoped working
This would more than likely NOT be a sensor problem.
In replacing the hinges you more than likely disrupted the wires that run from the cab into the door, causing a ground, pinching a wire or in some way causing no power to get through one of the wires. There is a rubber boot that runs between the door and the cab, pull it back and have someone hold the button in the down position. Then wiggle the wires until the window moves. That truck will have defog mirrors on it more than likeley so there will be plenty of wires to wiggle. When you find the problem wire simply cut the problem area, replace it with an end to end connector (**** connector) and seal it with silicone. If it is not one of the wires, you more than likely had a wire come off inside the door. (depends on how much you horsed it when you were changing those hinges) Thats where i'd start.
Best Of Luck!

attached to air filter housing it is incorporated into the mass airflow sensor (maf)

the problem you are discribing would lead me to belive your fuel filter is clogged which is a simple fix 3 dollar part at any part store or on the worse hand your fuel pump itself could be weak you can open the gas tank cover and have another person turn the truck key to the on position without going far enough to start you will hear a faint whining noise if it is going bad or a louder noise if it is fine Good Luck
