Headlights go out while driving

If you look just behind the headlight glass from the top, you will see two holes with 7mm hex head screws. These will adjust your headlights up, down, left and right.

iTS A FAULTY HEADLIGHT SWITCH

Check the bulbs, most commonly one light burns out and is not noticed. When the 2nd one goes, then it is obvious.

Your second low beam may have burned out last night (that is, you were running on one headlight for a while).

Buy a new headlight (you may have never changed the headlights on a 2004. If you have changed them in the past 3 or 4 years, my solutions is likely wrong.

I think that many 1990s and even some 1980s GM vehicles with seemingly 4 headlight systems actually use only 2 at a time.

My 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais, for instance, had 2 high beams that went on independently of the 2 low beam lights when switched with the turn signal lever.

In the 1970s the GM vehicles had 4 headlight systems where all 4 headlights would go on, but they used sealed beams rather than the capsule lights that are used nowadays.

For instance, our 1976 Cadillac Seville has a 4 headlight system that lights up 4 headlights on the high beam mode.

try checking the fuse first highbeam and dipped use different fuses.

you may want to check the fuel pump relay. this is a common problem

You need to Check the Tension on the Belt. If this is Even a Little loose it will Cause this Problem and these Dummy Lights.

dim lights are generally bad ground / rusty -loose ground points or wires
