First take the wheel off
Then take the caliper off the rotor
Then take the rotor off the CV joint spindle
You will need to remove the three bolts that hold the bearing in place.
You will either need to remove the two bolts that hold the strut or
you will need a Puller.

What is the size socket required for a 2012 Ford Fusion Axle nut? Also, what is the Torque spec to secure it back on? Working with Front-Right wheel.

The one that fits!

That's not the way it works. you buy a socket set. It has one set of AF Sockets and one set of Metric sockets. The one you use is the one that fits.

2014 Ford Fusion 2.5L, 2WD Torque Specs for front wheel hub assembly needed Axle nut/bolt, Hub bolts

the four axle nuts, 98 ft lbs, tighten in criss-cross pattern.
The hub nut/wheel bearing, 148 ft lbs, use new nut, don't let vehicle weight sit on the ground while torqueing, it could damage the wheel bearing.
If I left something out, give me a holler.

2002 pt cruizer changed both front wheel bearings and long axle rightside now there is a humming noise on drivers side when driving and ideas thanks

It is entirely possible to have a bad replacement wheel bearing. There are many cheap ones available and I've found that you get what you pay for. I prefer Timken bearings myself. Also, the drive axle nut torque is critical in ensuring that you don't cause bearing failure. Too loose or too tight will cause bearings to fail in short order. The axle nut is not one that can be "shade tree torqued" by "grunt-power".

TO REMOVE FRONT WHEEL BEARING.YOU NEED TO SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE ON JACK STANDS.MAKE SURE SITTING ON LEVEL SOLID GROUND.BEFORE RAISING VECHICLE OFF GROUND YOU NEED TO LOOSEN HALF SHAFT AXLE NUT JUST A LITTLE BECAUSE WHEEL IN THE AIR HARD TO LOOSEN AXLE NUT WHEN YOU HAVE HOLD THE WHEEL WHILE LOOSEN THE AXLE NUT WHICH IS TORQUE ON ABOUT 200 FT LBS.USING A SIX POINT AXLE SOCKET SOCKET SIZE COULD BE 34 OR 35 METRIC 1/2 INCH SOCKET.YOU NEED 1/2 INCH BREAKER BAR.ONCE YOU LOOSEN AXLE NUT A LITTLE THEN RAISE VECHICLE THEN REMOVE WHEEL.THEN FINISHING REMOVING AXLE NUT AND WASHER.THEN REMOVE THE CALIPER FROM THE STEERING KNUCKLE AND SUPPORT IT ASIDE USING A PIECE OF WIRE.REMOVE BRAKE ROTOR.THEN REMOVE THE 3 HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY BOLTS. USE A SWIVEL SOCKET GOING TO BE HARD TO REACH SPOT WITH A REGULAR SOCKET. REMOVE THE HALF SHAFT FROM THE HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY.REMOVE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY. PUT EVERY THING BACK VISA VERSA. TORQUE HUB BEARING BOLTS TO 70 FT LBS. TORQUE AXLE NUT 284 FT LBS IF YOUR CAR IS 1998 MODEL AND TORQUE AXLE NUT 100 FT LBS FOR THE 1999 TO 2001 MODELS.THE WHEEL HAS TO BE ON THE GROUND JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP IT FROM TURNING.DONT LET ALL THE CAR WEIGHT DOWN UNTIL YOU HAVE TORQUE WHEEL TO THE RIGHT TORQUE.LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

Is there any special tools required to change front wheel bearing on 2003 mini

you will need a big socket to remove the axle nut--about 20 mm or so. Other than that, I don't think so. Procedures from autozone.com below. it doesn't mention having to press bearing into hub.

Removal & Installation

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:

Front wheels Hub nut Brake caliper Rotor ABS sensor Wheel hub from steering knuckle and driveshaft Wheel bearings
To install:
  1. Install or connect the following:

Wheel bearing into hub Wheel hub to steering knuckle and driveshaft; torque bolts to 41 ft. lbs. (56 Nm) ABS sensor; torque to 6 ft. lbs. (8 Nm) Brake rotor and caliper New flanged hub nut; torque to 134 ft. lbs. (182 Nm)

How long does it take to fix front bearings on a 97 dodge caravan? and cost

About an hour a side...This is the whole job and pictures....

The hub and wheel bearing unit is serviced as a complete assembly. Replacement of the front drive hub and bearing assembly can be done without having to remove the steering knuckle from the vehicle. However, if the hub/bearing assembly is frozen to the steering knuckle, removal of the steering knuckle is required.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the cotter pin from the end of the stub axle. Remove the nut lock and spring washer. With the brakes applied, loosen, but do NOT remove the axle nut and washer with the vehicle still on the ground or damage to the wheel bearing will result.
  3. Raise and safely support the vehicle. Remove the wheel.
  4. Remove the front brake caliper assembly from the steering knuckle assembly and support from the strut assembly using a strong piece of wire.
    1. Remove the front brake rotor from the hub/bearing assembly.
    2. Remove the retaining nut and washer from the halfshaft stub axle.
    3. Remove the ABS wheel speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
    4. Remove the 4 hub and bearing assembly mounting bolts from behind the steering knuckle.
    5. Remove the hub and bearing assembly from the steering knuckle.
  5. To install:
    1. Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the steering knuckle and the hub and bearing assembly of any foreign material or nicks so the surfaces are clean and smooth.
    2. Install the new hub and bearing assembly and tighten the mounting bolts in a crisscross pattern to 45 ft. lbs. (65 Nm). Be sure the hub and bearing assembly is seated squarely against the front steering knuckle.
    3. Install the disc brake rotor.
    4. Install the brake caliper assembly onto the steering knuckle.
    5. Install the axle washer and nut. Tighten but do not torque.
    6. Install the ABS wheel speed sensor.
    7. Install the wheel and lug nuts. Torque the lug nuts, in sequence, to 95 ft. lbs. (129 Nm).
    8. Lower the vehicle. Do NOT roll the vehicle until the axle nut has been properly torqued or damage to the front wheel bearings will result.
    9. With the vehicle's brakes applied, torque the axle nut to 180 ft. lbs. (244 Nm). Install the spring washer, nut lock and a new cotter pin. Wrap the cotter pin prongs tightly around the axle nut lock.
    10. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Check the wheel alignment.
