If there is a pulsing vibration in the brake pedal and the steering wheel that changes along with vehicle speed, I would think you have warped front brake rotors. If they are within specification, you can have them turned back smooth. If they are under specification, you will need to have them replaced. It is always a good idea to change pads along with the rotors.
Struts would not cause vibration problems, A CV joint could, turn your vehicle in a parking lot hard right, make a circle than turn left make a circle ,if you hear a noises you have a cv joint problem. If you feel vibration on the steering wheel its in the front, if you feel it in the seat its in the rear.
Tires out of round & Balance very common as well brake rotors cause vibrations.
i would say it is a solenoid or air in the power steering lines but you would have to put a obd2 scanner and see what it says.
if i remember correct bleeding is as simple as removing the power steering cap and turning steering all the way left hold for 5 seconds then right and hold but you will need to look at oil in reservoir and see if it is bubbling while turning and holding. you will need a helper and if it is do this for 5-10 minutes.
Jun 7, 2015 - Radio volume control on 2008 Subaru Tribeca does not work, but remote volume control on steering wheel works. ... does not... Replace the volume control(rheostat) inside the radio. .... Oct 09, 2014 ' 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca.
If a hub bearing was bad, it almost always would make noise, more so when changing lanes at higher speed. Outer CV joints make a loud low pitched rattle when turning (corners). Inner CV joints raise hell at high speed- bad shake! Sway links affect cornering and clunk when hitting rough patches of road surface.
Is the vibration worse at 65 than at 50? If so, you are dealing with a wheel balance situation. Find an old time front end shop that will check the balance on the vehicle. You will have to turn off the traction control to do this or use an on-the-car wheel balancer.
If you feel it at some low speeds at it comes back at other higher speeds, then you are dealing with tire roundness. Possible more than 1. More common than we would like.
1st stay away from dealers-the mechs are inexperienced-------motor mounts may be bad or align service not rite etc--bring it to a specialist that is honest---chec out magicmechanic online and send him the issue-loves to reply
