if it dont have an auto spring you need to loosen the bolts on the alternator and swing it in toward the engine,fit the belt then swing it out to tighten the belt before you do up the alt bolts NOT TOO TIGHT,
LOOSEN YOUR ALTERNATOR PIVOT AND TENSIONER MOUNTING BOLT.TO RELIEVE BELT TENSION ROTATING THE ADJUSTING BOLT..THEN WHEN BELT HAS ENOUGH SLACK IN IT.YOU CAN REMOVE IT.WHEN REPLACING NEW BELT IT SHOULD DEFLECT 0.23 - 031 INCH OR 6 - 8MM

need idagram for belt routing there is no picture on the new belt package nor a diagram under the hood
I did usea hayne repair manual how ever you can read how to but stil know diagram
