2010 Ford Fusion SE 4 cyl. 89k miles! About 2 weeks ago, was driving home when power steering went out, check engine light came on, car was over heating and vehicle went into limp mode (could hardly accelerate or get up hills) pulled over once, and it worked for about a half a mile perfectly, and went into limp mode again. When I got home, looked under hood and noticed my serpentine belt was OFF. Brought car in the following Monday, got SB replaced, along with my my idler pulley. Also got new tires for winter. - Now it has been a week since I have gotten the pulley and belt replaced. Car was riding VERY smooth, with new tires and new belt. (my old belt was loose, making a whining noise) I was very happy with the drive of the car. NOW today, i am noticing a vibration when I am in idle at a stoplight, or stop sign. - If i put the car into Neautral, or when i am driving, vibration subsides UNTIL I reach about 40 - 45 MPH, it vibrates for a little while, and then stops. I wonder if it is something with the new tires and cold weather, as it is snowing pretty hard and only about 20 degrees F. Anyone know anything about this?? I like the car other than the vibration!! It has 89,000 miles on it.
Chances are its a minor miss in one of the cylinders. You don't feel it neutral at idle or until the trans goes into overdrive because those times the engine is not working very hard.
If it is a miss fire the check engine light will come on when it gets bad enough to affect fuel mileage.
If you have not yet changed the plugs I would start with that. There is also a chance you damaged the engine when it overheated.

I had similar problem with my '99 outback. Replaced the front half shafts and seemed much better. A few months later seemed to be comming back so replaced the driver side shaft again and the problem disappeared. I had put in rebuilt shafts and the driver side shaft was not rebuilt correctly.

Hi and welcome to FixYa. Please try this:
GO out to the car, and lift up on the hood. Does it raise a bit and rattle? If so;
Open the hood, and look at the perimeter of the front radiator support. You will see 2 small rubber thingys, that look like that they are screwed onto the metal that is holding the radiator. Unscrew them a little, and close the hood. Pull up on the hood and see if the rattle goes away. If not, repeat unscrewing the rubber things until the lift disappears.

That sounds like a left front wheel bearing gone bad My friend.. turning right transfers weight to the left side and it probably has a roar similar to a turbo fan jet.. Try it and lemmie know.. thank you

Your vehicle is trying to overheat. The reduced power you are seeing is programmed into the PCM (powertrain Control Module).This vehicle uses a cylinder head temperature sensor which is mounted into the wall of the cylinder head and is not connected to any coolant passages.It sends a signal to the powertrain control module indicating the cylinder head temperature. If the temperature exceeds approximately 121°C (250°F), the powertrain control module disables half the fuel injectors at a time. The powertrain control module will alternate which fuel injectors are disabled every 32 engine cycles. The cylinders that are not being fuel injected act as air pumps to aid in cooling the engine. If the temperature exceeds approximately 166°C (330°F), the powertrain control module disables all of the fuel injectors until the engine temperature drops below approximately 154°C (310°F).
I would have someone check the function of your cooling system and cooling fan.

Wow..thats not good..first have motor mounts checked, maybe the tranny mount or possibly if ur car has it is the driveshaft bearings...good luck on the oil leak...maybe tranny fluid..make sure if ur losing fluid that ur checking them incl. the tranny fluid...u might find ur leak first of all by rechecking the oil cap where it is supposed to be ...same with all fluid caps.
