Power Steering Issues

I have an 02 Trailblazer, when at idle or slowing for turns the trucks as though there is no power steering, after turning and accelerating the truck is fine. Is it the pump or the rack or something else.

Check Power-steering Fluid level and make sure that fluid is good first. If Fluid is good and when you accelerate the vehicle its fine then, you need a POWER STEERING PUMP. Good Luck and thanks for using FIX YA

Hard to turn

The steering problem is related to the power steering. Did you check the power steering fluid level? If level is ok, pump may be bad.

Hard starting is not related to steering issue. That needs to be diagnosed for fuel or spark issues. There many reasons for this.

2003 chevy trailblazer power steering hard to turn at idle easy when i raise rpms

Most likely is a weak power steering pump. This is actually pretty common and the pump is likely to last up to years before needing replaced. Make sure there are no leaks as this will reduce pressure through the system also causing this issue. If the oil in it looks dirty then it might require a flush.

Power steering

Sounds like your pressure needs to be checked for your power steering pump or maybe if that is ok the spool valve seals inside your rack are worn and letting fluid past under pressure.
