One thing to check is make sure you have a steady 5v to the tps and a constant ground clear the engine computer turn the key on push the gas pedal to the floor about 50 to 100 times if your 5v does not change and you have a good ground and the code returns the tps is bad

POO63 is a code for an OXGEN sensor bank 2 sensor # 3 to low voltage
This is the one behind the cataylic converter that is reading the final results and sending this to the computer to control the engine speeds and funtions at all speeds you should look into this .

Check engine

Well code 63 says the signal from the TPS is too low. The signal voltage is low when the throttle is closed and high when it is open.
A mechanic would check the reference voltage coming from the computer, and the resistance in the sensor with a meter.

63 code for a 1992 Lincoln town car

Hello,

Code 63 on your vehilce is

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) signal too low TPS

Check the connections at the TPS sensor located on the trottle body Its located on the trottel body on the opposite side of the accelrator cable linkages. Usually this code means TPS needs replaced.

Hope this helps

Cant Find a list of codes 1989 Buick Century. Car stalls and has a rough idle. coads are 31 43 and 44

Here is a code list for you. Remember this doesn't always mena a sensor issue, the problem can be in the wiring as well, or in the case of a lean code you may have an actual lean condition due to a vacuum leak at the intake or vacuum hoses or connections. I have highlighted your fault codes and added extra notes.

Code p0122 and p0123 after changing computer

Hi.

The problem is regarding TPS (throttle position sensor located in throttle body). Both codes are TPS voltage out of range (low and high) If you get both codes at once, then :

TPS may be defective,
wiring to TPS may be shorted to ground.
There may be a problem in the +5V circuit powering the TPS.
There may be a problem with ECU connector.

I need to know what the code 18 and 41 means for 93 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with a 3.8 litre supercharged eng

When fixing codes start with first code first / it dos not always mean that the sensor is the fault ,it could be in the harness / the plug or the ground. and reference signal should be tested , but in this case you most likely could get away with replacing the cam sensor, that would be the Lest expensive and easiest to start with,to git to it you will have to remove the alternator hope this is help full, the other code suggest that it could be the crank sensor , that and the plug for it does fail quite often but first things first feel free to ask if you should have any further questions , Thank you ,

99 Saturn SC1 ''Service engine soon'' light is on.

Did you get the code that triggered the SEL? If you know that, it will be easier to diagnose your problem. You can do it without a tool on the old saturns. Just need a paperclip. :

Use a paper clip to jumper Terminal A and B of the ALDL *Assembly Line Diagnostic Link* which is above your left knee.
Terminal A is an interal ground and is the top right terminal in the connector. Terminal B is directly adjacent and to the left of Terminal A.

Turn the ignition to ON.

All codes are 2 digits between 11 and 99. Codes are displayed on the SES light by flashing the light with short and long pauses to distinguish digits of one code from digits of another. The short pause is used between digits of the same code, long pauses are between codes. Also, each code is flashed three times before going to the next code.

For example, the sequence of code 12 will be: flash, pause, flash-flash, long pause, then repeat 2 times. If Code 12 is not displayed, the self-diagnostic pogram i snot functioning properly.

If only Code 12 is displayed, no system malfunctions have been stored.

Any existing system fault codes are displayed in order from low to high, except for Code 11.

On vehicles with an automatic transaxle and on which exist stored transaxle codes, Code 11 will be displayed last, then the SHIFT TO D2 light will begin flashing transaxle codes of flags.

When all engine codes have been displayed, Code 12 will flash again.
