you didn't mention what size engine you have, so i assumed its a 1.8L. thermostat is located at the housing just above the waterpump on the front of the engine. its #5 in the attached link http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=CJ11&mospid=48077&btnr=11_1393&hg=11&fg=35

SOURCE: radio code

Hello, The only way I know of to get a radio code is from BMW itself. If you call your nearest BMW dealer and supply them with all the info they need, they can get it from BMW. You may be required to make available your registration and ID for them to process this.
I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Where is the airbag sensor for BMW Z3 2.8l LOCATED???

Depending on which airbag sensor your after. There are 4 crash sensors on these. 2 in the doors for the side airbags, and the other 2 can be located underneath the bonnet. The sensors respond to the relevant airbag on the same side, i.e nearside sensor = passengers airbag, offside sensor = drivers airbag.

The main SRS control unit can be located underneath the centre console, thought ild add this in case you needed it!

Hope this helps!

Where is ths knock sensor bank1 located on a 1999 bmw 750 il

the knock sensors are located on the cylinder heads. the connect to the wiring harness almost directly in the middle of the intake manifolds on the center of the top of the engine. There are two, one for each bank, with each having two sensors per bank. Bank 1 is cylinders 1-6 which is located on the driver's side I beleive.

HELLO, I HAVE TROUBLE CODES PO330,PO340, ON MY OBD2 READER WITH THE MAINT LIGHT ON IN 96 BMW Z3 ROADSTER 4CYL., PO330 IS KNOCK SENOR, PO340 IS CAMSHAFT POSITION SENOR, I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FIX THEM BOTH....

The Cam Position Sensor is a common item to fail. However, the cam positioning mechanism can fail too giving that code.

There are two sensors and the Exhaust Cam Sensor is most common to fail. I always replace both.
Te CKP's are on the top front of the engine next to the cylindrical operation solenoids.

Knock sensors fail too and need checked or correct feedback to ECU with a scanner.
Find a shop near you at http://www.iatn.net/shopfinder/

These engines require regular oil changes with quality synthetic oils and OE filter....not a FRAM or WIX !

Buy only BMW sensors ...aftermarket have high failure rate.
