Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

The fan doesn't work for the front defroster/heater.

Using a test light, check for power at the blower motor connector. If thereis power there, replace the blower motor. If there is no power there, it could be the blower motor switch or the blower motor resistor. The most common is the blower motor resistor.

Hi
Sorry....No good news on this problem.
The resistor is built into the blower motor and can NOT be removed
You are going to have to replace the motor

2001 Town & Country lxi. Front blower worked last night but not this morning. Fuses and relays all OK (swapped known working etc) How to check beyond this? Power at blower motor? Where is blower motor?...

Ummm if the blower motor is bad it's a ***** to replace, I'd spring for a dealership repair to replace the motor
try this (But I doubt it) look under the hood on the firewall near the far right side, if you see the back of the blower motor, whack it with a hammer, this may work and it's tmporary at best, if you're very lucky the blower can be unbolted and removed on he engine side, but that's rare
Sorry

Blower motor resistor

Hi....
Yes the Red wire Commonly is the 12v power to the Blower motor.
If you don't fix the plug the blower will not work correctly.

But the best choice will be, if you replace the harnes connector.
Because is commomly burn for high resisteance on the blower motor.

Ok.. I hope this help on your question.
Sorry if I 'm late. but I was unable to check my Emails yesterday.

Thank you Guill
