Cant jump start 2001 lincoln ls

Is there a way to jump from under hood if battery is in trunk? lost trunk key and cannot remove back seat DESPERATE!!

    my key hole for the trunk is jammed and i cant get in that way my battery is totally dead from sittin over the winter so i cant pop the trunk its a 2000 lincoln ls how can i get my car started plese help someone or at least a way to get into the trunk

    trunk key and ignition key are not the same. also is there no remote trunk release inside the vehicle ?

You can but is tricky depending on how easy the starter is to get at.
take your ground cable and hook it to the frame somewhere it will make good contact and touch the possitive cable to the big wire on the starter keep in mind that it will turn over as soon as you touch the big wire on the stater,so turn your ignition key to run and make sure it is in neutral if it's a standard

If the doors are open,drop the back right seat back,
& crawl into trunk & pull the yellow release tab

OBD2 Vehicles do not use the lighter for battery voltage,
that was obd 1 systems ,the power is in the diagnostic connecter
by your right knee,need adapter to use battery KAM memory
back -up

The seat may only be released from the trunk--.have to check my 2004 LS

Cant get in the trunk how can i jump start it 2001 lincoln ls
you must have a fuse box under the hood you will find a master positive cable hook up your jumper to that cable and let it back feed your ground can be hooked up to the motor any ware let it charge for 20 min or so

the only other place is the starter all starters have a positive wire on them you cant miss it
its the biggest cable on the starter

You must jumpstart it from the battery in the trunk. There is no easy or good way to get to the same wires that you need under the hood.

On the right side kick panel,under glove box. Have to remove cover

In trunk,lift cover,left of battery.

We locked the keys in the trunk of her 2002 Lincoln
if the seloniod is ok on the trunk release and if you are mechanically inclined pull the trunk release button from the glovebox and jump between the two wires on the connector, that should open the trunk
