it sounds like the turn signal relay is failing and needs to be replaced. if you have any trouble finding it. turn on your turn signal indicator with the key on and listen. you will hear it clicking. if it is among other relays put your finger on the top of the relay(s) until you can fell it clicking.

I assume that you have the equipment to read the OBD codes, as you say there is no fault, this being the case you should be able to reset the fault indicator with this equipment. Otherwise you will need to perform drive cycles to clear it (you will find these at http://www.bluejag.co.uk ) or just sit back and relax it will turn itself off in time.
Testimonial: "Thanks very much for the help. This has been reset by the garage but came back on later. I will just sit back and wait for it to go of.as you say"
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS, MIL, CEL and BCM faults and others) as long as the light
is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic
diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code
that is stored for the problem(s)
Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System, MIL Malfunction Indicator Lamp, CEL Check Engine Light.
Hello
The engine
and transmission in this cars drive train are fully
electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train
Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer
stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions
to this, like the fuel pump for instance) in the form of a fault code
in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems
memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read
you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and
resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL THE
DIAGNOSIS & TESTING IS COMPLETED.
