SOURCE: car lurches and bucks, rpms erratic on acceleration on hills

You could have any of these problems:
1) vacuum leak- broken air hose or disconnected air hose.
2) water in the gasoline- add a water remover to you gas tank.
3) bad or disconnected spark plug wire(s).
If this were my Forester, I'd take it to a mechanic who has a electronic engine tester..

SOURCE: 944 turbo throttle dropout problem

i gave my 944 turbo which had a idle problem. checked all the vacuum
attatchments, made sure all were connected. Checked coolant level.
Then cleaned the fuel pressure (part). ie the fuel rail attatchment, with carburettor cleaner then sprayed dry lube into it. Its running like a dream again. This part i am talking about has 3 inlets and is at the front of the fuel rail, when you take it out fuel runs out of it for a little while.
Hope this fixes the problem.

What are the effects of a faulty crank sensor on a nissan QG18 engine

what a great question!
no year told, no country , no car told just raw engine
QG18 comes in many types QG18DD,,1999 to 04
QG18DE, 1999 to 2007 QG18DEN is the natural gas version?

lacking all key facts.
I go GENERIC (full bore)

the answer is super simple..
causes spark misfire. (and scanned PCM see P03xx errors DTC)

loss of engine horse power. and wasted fuel.
or engine dead. fully and no spark at ALL.

why worry it at all.??? if scans are clean this is it if CKP does not trip CKP errors DTC

must we guess all of these and if yes why?
and more,

The QG18DE is used in the following vehicles:
the CKP and CMP sensors are the base line inputs for all spark and fuel injections and timing and timing advance of spark
if spark dies the PCM cuts all fueling dead( no crash&burns)

2007 ram 1500 want go past 2000 rpm and skiping bad no throtte at all

run fault codes to get the root problem
indicates that the limp mode has been activated and could be poor fuel pressure or accelerator/ throttle position position sensors

Loss of power on acceleration & hills no warning lights showing

Have the codes read anyway. Turn the key on, do you see a check engine light? We work on auction cars also. To many times I see that the light is not on.

How to find the intake suction pressure corresponds to the engine RPM..

Manifold vacuum is a function of the throttle position and engine load, ie, you could be at 1500 rpm and have a vacuum or 10" Hg under acceleration or be cruising on a flat road at 3000 rpm and have a vacuum of 24"Hg.

p1545 is a throttle control malfuction code

You can try to reset the throttle body by opening the hood and drivers door then turning your key to the accessory position. You will hear the throttle body whir and click. It may take up to two minutes. Afterward, the car will relearn your habit of driving and adjust accordingly.
