My 2007 GMC envoy Denali after it has been running for a few minutes the engine dies either sitting there or while driving, the engine will turn over but will not fire. P1682 code is confirmed

There are 2 ignition 1 voltage circuits supplied to the engine control module (ECM). The first ignition circuit is
provided by the powertrain relay, through a fuse. This ignition 1 voltage circuit supplies power to all the
internal ECM circuits associated with the throttle actuator control (TAC) operation. The second ignition 1
voltage circuit is supplied by the ignition switch through a fuse, and is used to power the remaining internal
ECM circuits. If the ECM detects a voltage difference between the 2 ignition 1 voltage circuits, DTC P1682
will set.

My gmc 4.3 stalls when warm and wont start without ether. then it runs fine

I had the exact problem with my 1993 chevy c1500. I found that the IAC was sticking so the engine would die at idle after warming up and the ignition module was pulsing the ECM intermittently after the engine warmed up so the fuel pump wasn't being turned on after the engine died....I replaced the ignition module and the IAC valve and all is good. I don't know if testing the ignition module reveals that it isn't sending pulses to the ECM.

96 Dodge Runs fine but after warms up it dies, cools n will crank n run good then dies again after warming up.

Hey Dennis,, DON"T BECOME A PARTS REPLACER..(some people who "call themselves mechanic's" are just that!),.. .take this Dodge to a qualified professional... talk to them..
You say warm... do you mean full running temp?? .if so, you may be experiencing a vapor lock,, fuel "boils" when the engine is hot.. when it cools its no longer hot enough to cause this..(S.W.A.G.)

My Volvo 940 GL has a problem. The engine dies after 2hrs of running. Party's changed to no avail(pickup coil, power unit, secondhand rectifier fixed in, serviced the idling valve, fuel pump relay...

When the engine warms up engine management sensor warms up and the resistant builds up,signals dont reach the ECM,out all that was replaced what about the cranksensor?that is a popular failure when warm4_2_2012_12_42_46_am.jpg
