What sensor would make my 97 plymouth voyager shut off by it self and the oil light comes on when it shuts off?

Stop by your local Plymouth/Dodge dealer and show them you ownership for VIN number, it may be part of a recall, and will be fixed free of charge.

This is a diagram of where and what it looks like. Its located on the back side near the firewall on your transmission. GOOD LUCK!

its built into the lock mechanism lock might have to be replaced try adjusting it first. should be able to move the latch.

I'd have fuel pressure checked, and at the very least, replace fuel filter. Not unusual to get multiple misfire codes due to low fuel pressure, thus starving cylinder(s), and causing the misfire code(s).
