I keep getting air in brake lines of 2005 town and country. Changed master cylinder and left front caliper, no loss of brake fluid

Bleeding brakes is a 2 person job. the person that depressed brake pedal will need to keep reservoir full with brake fluid. If you let it get low air will enter system. go to YouTube there are videos on how to bleed brakes. You might want to have this job done, cheaper than an accident and trip to hospital.

The ABS brain block is defective! Will have to be replaced. Big aluminum block with a lot of lines to it. =Usually down low under the master cyl.

If the pads are being applied and you are not pushing on the pedal, it could be something going on with the ABS.

2001 Nubira, brake pedal low after replacing rear steel lines, all rubber hoses and all calipers. system bleed car sops but pedal very soft

If both of your brake lights are out including the third light above the rear door you should check 1: brake switch located behind brake pedal. 2: relays under hood although not a likely problem. 3: trailer wiring if there is any. Most likely it will be the first though as it controls all brake lights.

Brake light on the dash board goes on while pushing the brakes

The brake light coming on signifies a low level of brake fluid in the resevoir.Because it only comes on when you push the pedal it's borderline on level. It needs to be topped up and check under the car for leaks. A leaking line is the most common cause of brake fluid. Have you noticed a change in the feel of the pedal lately? Has it gone spongy or hard? Either are a sign of leaking brake lines. Hope this helps.

You Must determine that Master Cylinder is NOT LEAKING into the Brake BOOSTER this is a Leak that CANNOT be Detected Easyly, If not Rear Brake SHOES Worn OUT Can CAUSE LOW Brake Pedal Problem

David, is it one brake light, or both not working? If it's both, check the brake light switch (mounted high on the brake pedal). Let me know what u find.

Cruise control on 2001 Lincoln Towncar

Try pulling the brake pedal up with your toe and setting the cruise control while you hold it up with your toe. If it engages, stop holding the brake pedal up. It will either disengage immediately or after you hit a bump. Or if you step on the brake, of course.

There's a brake pedal sensor button on the steering column right where the brake pedal arm intersects it. I put a self]adhesive felt pad (buy at wal-mart, home depot, etc) on the pedal arm where it makes contact with the sensor button. Fixed. Been working fine for a year now.

I would start by stripping all four brakes & cleaning up
all rust & then do what was necessary to put back together
Machine Rotors if necessary,new pads if needed & lube things

No other expert would start there- only me-
that is if they haven't been apart in a year

Now the brakes are under control & would on your 12 year
old car remove the master cyl & clean out the moisture & then
bleed all four corners

For me that would be the end & adjust Parking Brake.

You can not make the pedal physically come up, no matter
what you do.

New pads push the caliper pistons in more & you get a
quicker brake feel -but not shorter pedal stroke
