Where do I find an uncut stock key for a 1994 Geo Prizm LSi that has the geo logo on it? I'm looking for a blank copy of the stock key for this car. This is the one with the Geo logo on it. I have a working copy of the key, but it is a cheap Walmart key, and I want to get the stock key for the car cut to match it. I can't find any of these keys though. Here is a picture of the key. you'll have to pull off the interior panel. window in the up position. on the lock cylinder there is a clip that you have to pull off and an arm that actuates the lock. pop the lock out. reverse to install.

You need to replace your fuel sending unit. It is located inside of the gas tank.

Yes a harmanic balancer from tha corolla is the same thing. I had to do the same thing with my 95 geo. It works out to be a lot cheaper buying for a toyota than a geo.

turns over and crank are the same thing,
so you are saying it does crank over but no start,right?
you need to determine if you have at least 50psi of fuel pressure in fuel rail at reed valve.

It could be the starter, test the small wire going to the starter, it should have power when turning the key to start/crank. If it does, and the starter will not crank the engine, whack it with a hammer, if it then starts, replace the starter. If there is no power to the starter, then it could be the ignition switch, or the neutral switch, or a fuse/link blown.

so can not answer you. ever , lacking that key fact.

85 is an old car and must have missed the nation wide crush program. they are very hard to get running, (vacuum magic H3LL)

Mercedes Benz is the most service oriented company in the business. Whether you are the original owner or a secondary owner give the local Mercedes Dealer a call and they will dispatch a truck with a technician immediately. More than likely there will be no charge.
I know the same thing happened to me with a dead battery. Don Rasmussen is absolutely unbelievable locally. I couldn't believe the no charge. The Tech stated " That's the service you paid for".

Lost all keys to 2001 Toyota Avalon. Dealer says I must buy a new computer in order to have new keys set for this vehicle. Is there any other cheaper solution?

the best thing i can suggest is find a locksmith who specializes in making car keys. something similar happened to my brother and my friend. my friend lost his keys, to an older acura, the locksmith, he got a code off of the glove compartment, and cut the key based on that code. my brother, has a 2001 audi a4(similar key system), he broke his key, he went to the dealer and they were charging him 400 dollars for a new key. so he got an uncut key from ebay for 15 dollars, took it to the same locksmith, cut the key based on the broken one, and only charged him 20 dollars. 35 compared to 400, huge difference. i know its different situations but i think a good locksmith will be able to make the key for you without charging you all that extra stuff. if you live in the cerritos, california area, i can tell you the exact location of the lock smith. if not, i will gladly help you in your search for one, or any other assitance you may need. i put a link to an ebay key that should be for your car, uncut of course. i hope this helps, and goodluck.

Can you use a drivers side mirror from a 1995 Geo Prizm on a 2001 Chevy Prizm?

How do you program a 2003 passat volkswagen key

There is no easy way to program these keys without VAG-COM (Volkswagen Audi Group Communication) software. It is possible that a European specialty car parts house or a locksmith may have this software (or a VW enthusiast who uses it to check specialty fault codes and engine diagnostics), but most people are forced to go to a VW or Audi dealer (same technology) to get new keys matched to their VWs.
When adding a new key, all keys must be recoded at the same time--you can't simply add one to an existing group of keys. A new code is generated that will invalidate the previous codes used by existing keys.
I have had good luck purchasing key blanks and remote key fobs on eBay for much less than my local dealer would charge, but I then paid the $80 fee to have the dealership match all my keys to the car. My local locksmiths could could copy the physical key, but they couldn't do this final step.
There are some tricks you can use with older (pre-2000?) VWs to match up keys, but I do not believe that they work with newer VW key technology.

I brought a peugeot 206 uncut key fob on e bay with the circuit bit inside, can i get it it cut?i do have a key for my car already,if i got it cut could i program it myself or do i need to take it to the...

most likely it's a dealer job but there are a few independent key coders, I had to get a renault key done and they could do that so I imagine they can do peuegots aswell, have a look local to you if you cant find one let me know and I will give you the details of the firm I used. they might post it out for you.

Can Geo Metro parts be used to fix a Chevrolet Metro?

The hood will be the same, but the bumper will be different: the Geo Metro had its turn signals in the bumper and the Chevy Metro had them in with the headlights. The bumpers also look different, however their mounts may be the same. If your sister wants fer car to look the same you should find a bumper from a 1998-2001 Chevy Metro.
