Hi from uk not sure if same as uk hyundai's but here goes ? if you remove wheel do you see two countersunk posi screws between studs that appear to hold rotor ?? if so then you will have to first remove the brake caliper assy by unbolting from the rear of caliper two 13 mm spanner/socket ? then you remove the two bolts that secure the carrier that the caliper bolts to 17 mm spanner/socket now you can remove the two contersunk screws then you may have to tap the rotor off the hub from rearuse a wire brush to clean up/away all rust/dust from caliper and carrier assys b4 refitting (take precautions from breathing dust) i assume you are fitting new pads ?? reassemble carrier then b4 fitting pads smear a light coating of copper grease on the rear of pad (metal side ) this prevents squealing on brakes then fully reassemble then b4 fitting wheel? bleed the brakee caliper a couple of pumps should expel dirty fluid then fit wheel carry out same proceedure on other brake assy as above fully then b4 you move car pump brake to ensure pedal is firm you will find that bleeding brakes will make pedal firmer as the old fluid becomes compressable due to heat/moisture absorbsion over time and heat from brakes is transferred to fluid via caliper piston understand?? that is why alway policy to bleed/flush brake fluid at least two yr interval this reduces spongy brake pedal hope this is all clear 4 you to follow best wishes for new year and hope you update on how you go on??

How do I remove front rotors from a 2003 hyundai elantra

First jack the front end up. Then remove the wheels. Then remove the calipers. Then the rotors should fall right off the car into your hands. They are not pressed on or hubs

I want to change the front rotors on a 2003 elantra and what do I need?

mcdevito75 here, You"ll need a sturdy jack to lift the car, you"ll need the tools to lift the brake calipers off the rotor, in short let your local shop change the rotors. If you try and get stuck some how now you have to tow the car and have the rotors replaced.

The heater works great, however, you can't direct the air

The possible causes you describe are many... Take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

Go to a Hyundai Parts Store -- you'll find one there, but you'll have to pay for it.

Replacing studs

sometimes they just get stuck, which a big soft blunt hammer will cure with a good hit , or maybe you missed these assembly line screws ? there may be 2 of them on each rotor .

if there just stuck , try some penetrating oil / spray , and spray around the inside circle where the rotor meets the hub , let it penetrate ,give it a good smack with a hammer and a piece of wood so you don't damage the rotor .

2003 hyundia sonata made before 2/2003

you should be able to get replacement parts at Napa or Oreillys they a fairly in expensive. but only if the are the drive in kind, meaning you need to take a hammer to knock them out of the rotor assembly then you just take a drift pin/punch and hammer them back in. hope this is helpful. please rate this solution. thanks
