You can go to Auto parts store and get a siphon kit that you don't have to swallow gas fumes.

SOURCE: 1991 toyota supra blue smoke from tail pipe when get of the gas

The intake valve guide seals are worn and are letting oil slip by under high engine vacuum--as when you let up on the gas. The only fix is to take the cylinder head off and replace the valve guide seals. This problem is pretty normal for an older car with high mileage. It will probably run just fine. Just keep checking the oil level and keep it topped up.

SOURCE: Timing Dpecs for Toyota Supra 87 6 cylinder

1987 non-turbo: 10 deg Before Top Dead Center (BTDC) @700 rpm
1987 Turbo: 10 deg BTDC @650 rpm.

To set the timing, you will need to connect a jumper wire between terminals E1 and TE1 on the diagnostic terminal. This diagnostic terminal is located just aft of the engine compartment fuse box. It is a black plastic box marked "diagnostic" on the cover, which flips open to reveal the terminals inside. There is a diagram on the inside of the cover which explains the terminal positions. On the Turbo model, you need to remove the forward section of the engine cover to gain access to the number one spark plug wire.

SOURCE: i have a 1987 toyota supra and it isnt getting any spark

poss bad earth, check ecu supply when then cranking. if not you need an oscilliscope to see what is up with signal on crank sensor, some vehicles power cable is so close the noise from it wipes the signal same as a bad starter it interfers with the signal, (noise is the magnetic fields)

Toyota Supra 1987, Will not rev up.

Is it a turbo? You may be having a fuel-cut issue. Has teh problem happened since? If this only happens once is a while, it will be hard to diagnose.
