SOURCE: Heater problems on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Please Help!!

THis is a know problem with Jeep GC. If only one side is cold and the other is hot and there are no controls error codes. It is likely a broken temperature blend door on the faulty side (w/ dual controls). Dealer charges a lot to fix ~$800. There is a kit and instructions sold on EBAY to replace the part for $100. Seller claims that a relative novice can fix w/o removing the entire dash board as the dealer does. Has sold hundreds of kits....people seem satisfied....you may check it out. Search Heater Blend Door Jeep on ebay. Replacement parts are aluminum instead of OEM plastic.

Self Diagnostics on HVAC system. Jeep GC has built in diagnostics and will return error codes on the temp display if it is otherwise. Simple to display.
1) Press A/C and Recir button simutaneously
2) Rotate driver temp control knob clockwise then release buttons
3) If no controls error a code of "0" or "00" will be returned.
4) Error codes listings can be found on-line if anything but zero

Dealers charge $45 to run the same check

blend door actuators. If you have the AZC system (automatic zone control) used in the limited (the one with dual digital readouts) you can use the on board diagnostic to read the code. while running, press the a/c and recirc buttons at same time then turn drivers temp control one click clockwise. release a/c and recirc buttons. If you have codes that show up, write them down and google search for these codes. It will tell you exactly what is wrong.

SOURCE: plenty of air but no heat

Check to see that the blend door linkage is hooked up. Doubtful it is heater core, as you had heat to one side and not the other. Check coolant control valve linkage, verify it is moving the coolant valve from off to on when you switch temperature from cold to hot. Verify you have coolant flow to the heater core by feeling the heater hoses where they enter the firewall. If all checks out well, then look at hvac controls individually.

Heater on jeep wrangler sport I have no heat and the lever only blows on high we have snow and frost here in NY my daughter freezes in morning help me please

There are two issues here.
If there is no heat or not hot enough, replace the thermostat and Check the coolant level.
No Air coming out could be either the Blower Motor, The Blower Motor Resistor pack or the switch in the dash. These jeeps are know to burn up the switch and wiring harness when the motor draws too many amps. I just installed all of the above in my 2000 4.0 Sport.

97 jeep grand Cherokee wont blow hot or cold air on any setting and the blower motor is fine

is your car warmed up? if it is already warm, probably you have a clogged heater core and/or airpocket in system.

to bleed airpocket, raise the front part and try to bleed air from bleeding screw. you will see bubbles if there are any after few minutes of idling.

if nothing helps you will understand that you need a new cabin heater or you need to try to clean debris out. be informed that this requires you t remove almost all parts of dash.

Check the cooling fan motor and of course the fluid level. If the temp is changing thru the heater it could just be low on coolant , leaking from ? Two wheel drive have an elecrtic cooling fan only, make sure its spinning up when temp is 3/4. If not its probably the fan motor. Can be checked with a test light .

My 2000 jetta gl is overheating the thermastat is good and the fans work but when you turn on the heater only cold air blows

sounds like your cooling system isn't full.  with the heater on Hi refill the cooling system and bleed it until all the air comes out.  Sometimes you need to raise the front of the car.  And there may be a bleed screw on the thermostat housing.

2000 jeep grand cherokee v8/heater core

Yes it's the heater core, It's a complicated diy job and unless you are an experienced mechanic you are going to need a good workshop manual for the job.

Best of luck.
