how do you know it needs fuel lines, are they leaking? is fuel pump good?did you do fuel pressure test? did you chk. to see if filter is pluged? just because the tank leaks won't keep it from running and that can be fix with a little apoxey and a some elbo grease.

the best way to clean a tank is to remove it and have is steam cleaned properly.

removing the tank and shaking it with 2l of fuel in it, then emptying it quickly will remove the worst of the trash but is not as effective as steam cleaning properly

My 1996 beretta z26 sometimes acts like its running out of gas and stumbles but then drives normal and then does it again and again sometimes and sometimes it runs perfect
had same problem check your fuel injectors might be clogged try not to use the cheap gas too much try this get tank low then added a bottle of gas treatment and fill tank with 94(use sunoco better quality) it helps (96 BERETTA OWNER ;)

The fuel pump still does not come out, what holds the fuel pump in the tank?
Some fuelpumps are just sitting inside the tank but some like your clip into place. take note of the postion its in before removing it. make a mark on the pump and the tank. the model car listed here is a 1996 altima, this type car the pump should pull out after the to ring is removed, you will have to move around to remove, this avoids damage to level sensor. good day, note; this car must have alot of miles to have a bad fuel pump, these nissan pumps never go bad but maybe this one did.. good day.

Where is the fuelpump on 1998 mazda 626, well i jyst want to replace my fuelpump because it went out, i all ready replace the relay
the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. It is usually changed out by removing the fuel tank, but can sometimes be reached by removing the back seat. taking the back seat out is usually worth the effort even if it isn't how to get to the fuel pump as if you are correct it can save you about 2 hours worth of time.

The fuelpump is located inside the gas tank, you will need to drop the tank to replace the pump, heres a picture of the pump and in goes in through the top of the tank, the fuelpump is called a fuelpump module because it comes complete with holder sending unit and all other parts as you will see in the picture,hope this helps, good luck.johnjohn2_17.jpg

Alot of these forgein cars do have a door under the rear seat, its an access door but on your 1996 acura the gas tank must be removed to replace the fuelpump,

How do you change the fuel filter to 02 Dodge Intrepid?
you do not, theres no fuel filter to change, theres a filter screen inside the tank on fuelpump, this only gets replaced when fuelpump goes bad and needs replacing,ive never changed a in tank screen unless i was doinng a fuelpump, hope this helps.

Fuelpump needs replaced what are the steps to change the fuelpump how do you change the fuelpump?
first of all you will need to put the car on jack stands and secure the rear of the vehicle so it does not roll disconnect the negative side the battery you will need a floor jack to lower the fuel tank down be sure to put a small board on top of the jack so you do not put a hole in the tank also get some WD40 or something similar to spray on the bolts to help loosen them once you get the tank down unplug the wires on top of the tank and be careful not to break them and then you have to get that center ring to move around and once it is free your fuel pump will come out
