When the car is cold it turns on fine but after it warms and I put it in gear it idles low and shuts off. Then it gets harder to start and stay on.
Its
a hot start issue. Can
be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor. Also
it can be weak battery or starter. But
possibilities are to be inspected to confirm what exactly it is.------ To

Depending on how Cold it is where you are, The cold will effect the Operation of the Tranny. I am pretty sure that your Tranny is Fine, Just Really Cold. Depending also on where you live, I use Valvoline Quick Change to service my Vehicles when I am on the Road. Have never had a Problem with them. On the Fluid, They make so many Different Kinds now adays that it is hard to Choose. Look in the Back of your Owners Manual and Use what is Suggested in there.

Check your motor mounts, recently engine idled rough when in nuetral or stopped in drive, also jerked when put in reverse. took it to a automotive shop and found motor mounts cracked. Runs great now
