I would start with checking your fuel pressure first. If your fuel pump is bad/going bad it will not produce enough fuel pressure to keep the engine running when put into gear. The fuel pump may be producing enough fuel pressure to start and idle the engine, but not enough to keep the engine running when put into gear. There is a demand for more fuel when the vehicle is put into gear, if the fuel pump is unable to keep up with this demand the engine will stall. If your fuel pressure is okay, check your MAF ( Mass Air Flow) sensor. The parts store sells a cleaner for the MAF sensor. Try cleaning this sensor first before replacing it. Hope this helps.

did you ever tune this car up , that is the number one reason that cars or truck hesitates because of fould plugs , this is the number thing to change , especially after 100.000 miles on todays cars , ck also your air filter , change it too , get a K&N well worth the money and you get more HP better gas milage , no I do not work for them but they are the best , get some injector cleaner , hope this helps ,
