First started with car sitting on driveway, not running, and no one around. Stopped horn by disconnect neg on battery. Put neg back on horn did not lock on again until pressed horn on steering wheel. Pulled fuse to stop this action until find repair item. I feel it the relay sticking?????

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, CHANGED OUT BATTERIES IN MY REMOTES AND HAD THEM TESTED AND THEY WORKED FINE. THEY DEALERSHIP STATED IT WAS NOT UNDER WARANTY AND IT WOULD COST $600 TO FIX IT. YOU CAN ONLY REPLACE IT THRU A CHEVY DEALERSHIP. KIND OF A SCAM!

It sounds very much to me like the horn circuit is shorting out somehow just before the ring and contact assembly inside the steering column. It does take a bit of experience to dismantle the items properly. An easy way out would be to eliminate the horn button circuit completely, and wire in a dash-mounted aftermarket horn button directly to the horn or relay, depending on how the circuit is set up.

THE horn piece should turn with the wheel lock plate. if it does not then something is not installed properly
