Why do my 91 honda civic starts but stalls out when i drive it

Try pounding on the gas tank with a rubber mallet or similar tool. (careful not to dent the tank) Try starting it. If it runs, replace the fuel pump (it's nfg). I've diagnosed numerous fuel pumps this way. Remember the pump needs to be replaced, if you drive it, you don't know when it'll fail for good. Hope this helps. Please post the results.

TO CHECK THE FUEL PUMP TURN THE KEY OFF THEN TURN FORWARDTO THE ACC POSIION AND LISTEN FOR THE FUEL PUMP TO HUMM IT WILL ONY HUMM FOR 5-10 SECONDS EACH TIME TOU DO THIS. THE REASON IT WORKS INTERMITANTLY IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH ELECTRONIC PARTS AND WHEN THEY WARM UP THEY FRITZ OUT LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AND GOOD LUCK
