I can't locate the radiator drain plug on my 2001 buick century. Help!

Not all radiators have them, just remove the lower radiator hose and spray hot water through it from the top till it comes out clear, usually works better anyhow... Note: if your coolant is nasty and all brown and gummed up its cause you have a leaking intake gasket and oil is mixing with your coolant,, if this is the case you may have to replace the radiator as well as the gasket on the intake..

Trying to locate the temperature coolant sensor on a 2001buick century

The sensor is on the passnger side of the radiator below the radiator cap. It is black and square and has a single plug at the bottom. It is held onto the radiator by a metal retaining clip. Remove the clip and the sensor pulls out of the radiator. Disconnect the wire by pulling carefully on the plastic lock and pull on the plug. Fluid will leak out to level of sensor. Drain or place catch basin below sensor plug to catch radiator fluid. Sensor can be purchased through a dealer for around $70 US, or Auto-Zone for under $40 US. Your choice.

Hope this helps

I have a 1995 buick century. i want to flush radiator, but i couldn't located the draining valve. i need a help, if you can locate the draining valve for radiator.

Hi, if there is not a petcock or plug at the bottom of the radiator, you can just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. Many cars do not have drain plugs. Please let me know if you have more questions and thanks for using FixYa.

Location of radiator drain plug on a 1986 buick century

The drain valve is located on the back side (towards the engine) of the radiator side tank, you need to go under the car to see it, miost often the drain valve is on the drivers side.
