Sounds like the latch is stuck in the lock position. You will need to remove the door panel to access the latch. This can be difficult with the door closed. You might have to remove the front seat.

sphakitas, You have to press down on the two outer buttons for 20 seconds untill you see the lights flash really fast; then let go. This will de-program (or erase a previous owner's transmitter code.) now at the same time, hold down the button you want programed and your garage door opener. May take up to one minute. when you see the light change, it's confirmed.
