1999 m3 light indicator light--what does it mean

I have two indicator lights on my dash and can't find the manual. the one light is a circle with 3 little bars around the circle on the left side and 3 on the right side.
the second light is a horizontal lize with a triangle on the left side and a rectangle on the right side.
anyone know what these mean?

Does the one look something like this? IIIOIII or (((O)))

this is the brake wear indicator saying that you need brake pads somewhere on the car (front or rear).

the other sounds like you either have the traction control (its a button with either DSC or ASC written on it) turned off or its showing you that it is off because you need need brake pads.

The is a light on in the section where the battery, seat belt light,is this light is a circle and it has 2or 3 bars on each side of the circle what indicator is this 4. my car is bmw328i 1999.

That would be the brake warning light and would mean one of three things.
1) The hand brake is not fully released or the switch is faulty and not switching off.
2) The brake fluid level is low in the reservoir.
3) The brake pads are worn down to the point where they need replacement.

A ROUND YELLOW CIRCLE LIGHT WITH LINES ON EACH SIDE MEANS BRAKE PROBLEMS FRONT BRAKES OR REAR BRAKES HAS A FAULT. NOW IF CIRCLE HAS LINES INSIDE YOUR POWER STEERING FLUID LOW NEED CHECKING.THE WARNING LIGHT WILL TURN OFF WHEN PROBLEM FIX.

Circle with dashes on the outside is brake pads worn indicator. The light bulb looking one is exterior bulb out indicator, the triangle if you have it is ASR slip.
