Armrests are part of door panel. Usually has holding screw in handle itself then pop panel off as one piece.

I'm sorry, I wasn't specific. I meant the armrests on the seat itself... not the door panel.

If you look at the armrest side that is "away" from where it is attached to the seat, you will see a small circular cover. Using a small flat screwdriver, pry this cover off; it is held in by 2 small claws. When the cover is removed, it will expose the bolt that you need to remove to remove the armrest. Hint: tape the end of the scrwdriver so you do not deform the plastic cover or the part that the cover fits into. Quite an easy proceedure.

SOURCE: need to know how to change the oil

First you go get a bowl to drain the oil from within the engine and remove a knot underneatthe engine to enable the oil drain out. Remove and replace the oil filter, tighten it properly, then fill in the new oil into the oil compartment of the engine.

SOURCE: Need to replace downstream o@ sensor and need to

If your removing your armrest i believe your going the wrong way to change the sensor.
Do not try to take sensor off kat before the otherside of wire has been disconnected first. Follow the sensor wire from the Kat sensor your changing. This guides through car under body"s rubber plug ring you can use a screwdriver to help you push gently the edges around the ring so the ring has gone though the hole and under your carpet and easier to trace the wire quickly after carpet has been pulled back..
Sit in passengerside, put your feet together with your legs out as far as you can and slide seat all the way back.
Your feet should up under the glove box. On the leftside of your left foot pull the floor carpet slowly back your target is as far forward where the carpet rolls up under dash but to the left center of car consol.
Don"t worry you can slide the carpet back up under the center sides of consol.
There is a carpet hold down plug, they turn like a screw and you can pull more capet back if you need. So a slight turn of the screwdriver will come handy there also. Once you have the carpet back you should see your wire and your rubber ring plug it will go upto a plug mounted connector. here is a clip holding the plug in.Carefully and gently raise the clip and side the plug end off the mounted connector. Now you can easily remove the old sensor from the exhaust and pull the sensor wire completely through floor.
Reverse the instructions to install new sensor beginning with install the sensor to kat first so you prevent twisting your wire around as you tighten new sensor on the kat.Good luck and it is safe to have a ohm check on the number one injector (not the wire connector to the injector but the injector itself ) as well as the other three all should read close to the same reading none should peak to high or read to low while comparing one injector to the other.Plays a role of slow damage to o2 sensor. 11_21_2011_3_54_05_pm.jpg

There are two screws on either side of the armrest. Remove with Allen wrench or Phillips head. Be sure the armrest is closed position. After removing screws lift straight up to remove the armrest. Save the screws.

How do you remove the armrest from the driver bucket seat from a 1994 chevrolet silverado, it does not have the clip from the backside like the newer chevrolets?

It is possible that the role pin to remove the armrest is hidden inside the zipper cover. I do not know this particular vehicle, but GM did that to some of the vans. Some also have to require the removal of the actual seat and turn counterclockwise to "unwind" the armrest. Good Luck, hope this may help.

Remove center armrest from 2003 GMC

These are usually a combination of Velcro, screws and snap latches. The screws have concealment caps that can be removed with a small screwdriver. The other place is under the rubber liner mats for the "catch all" area and in the bottom of the storage compartment itself. If you have any lighters, ashtrays or power points you will have to remove those first as well. Small screws usually hold those in.

How do i take off the armrests from the bucket seats

  • On most vehicles the arm rest are attached the same way, here is something you can try...Put the armrest in the upright position. Look along the bottom and sides of the armrest where it connects to the body of the seat. There should be small circles like tabs if the armrest is made of plastic, and there should be a seam that you can look through if the arms are made of cloth.
  • Pop out the tab or peel back the fabric to reveal the holding mechanism. If the chair is screwed in then you'll need a screwdriver, and if there's a nut or a bolt then you're going to need a socket wrench.
  • Hold the armrest up and make sure it doesn't move. Unscrew or unbolt the arm from the bucket seat. Pull the arm outwards once the hardware is removed.

The arm rest does not move to a parallel position

Un zip the cover on the armrest and pull it up to expose the bolt hole. unbolt and remove the arm rest and see what parts are damaged, sometimes it can just be tightened.

How do you remove the armrest on the front seats?

The armrests have covers that can be removed. Locate the zipper on the arm rest. Once you unzip it pull it toward the back of the arm rest and this will expose the one bolt that hold the armrest on. You will need a large torx and rachet to get it off. Once you take out that bolt the armrest will come right off.
