no key? use a portable starter pack that plugs into a power port lighter etc

Check battery and make sure the charge is good. If unsure , try a boost

Most likely a relay or circuit breaker. Find the one and swap with another to verify. Replace the bad one.

Im not sure the year of your but you can pull the back seats down and access it that way

Do you have a button on the trunk itself? Mine wont open from inside car, but I have a 2011 checy cruze, and theres a button under the trunk, that pushes in and it opens

Can you access the trunk through the rear seat if you can you can (have some one with you) go in the trunk and in the trunk youll see a lever with a glow in the dark tab. Pull it the trunk should open,Manufauctuer now make these trunk release levers mandatory.Now you can trouble shoot the reason for it not to able to open. look along the release machanism is it binding does the key (if ti uses a key) turn feely maybe lubricating it will work,

If back seats fold down like my 2003 Impala, you should be able to access trunk through back seat. There is an emergency release in the trunk to open trunk lid

MY 06 Impala tunk would not open using my key fob, or the trunk button on my car . IF you own this vehicle you know that there is no manual keyhole on the trunk. I had to remove my back seat . It is held on by two bolts. In the trunk on the trunk lid is an emergency release handle. Once the trunk is open you need to remove the lock mechanism. Take a test lightand check the wire harness. If you are getting power to the harness and the lock still does not work, you need to replace it. GM wanted 189 for a new lock mechanism, i went to a auto scrap yard. they didnt have an 06 impala, but they did have an 06 malibu. they use the same lock system.the wire connectors for the harnesses look different but it fits fine. the only drawback is my convenience light in my trunk does not work when the trunk is open. only cost 15 bucks for the part.

each bulb should be in a socket that is accessable from the trunk... it take a half turn or so to remove it.....
