The brake lights are activated when you depress the brake pedal.  When depressed the brake light switch, which is located on the brake pedal level, allows the circuit to be complete.  Check for power on one side of switch then depress pedal and see if it allows power to other side of switch.  Keep me posted

The bulbs they use are kind of funkey. I had the same problem, and I fixed it finally by wiggling the bulbs in their sockets. Good luck.

Why arent my 2003 honda accord taillights working

If you mean running lights (not brake lights) check fuses first, then bulbs, wiring connection in trunk, light switch. If you mean brake lights, check fuses, brake switch at brake pedal, grounds at lamps, bulbs.

First make sure you are using correct bulbs. Some were single contact (base) some were double and you can't interchange the 2 different styles

Horn and brake lights

First if brake lights arent working then the shiftlock wont work. Works off of same circuit. I would check fuses for brake lights and also horn. Not exactly sure on the 92's but good chance theres fuse's inside car and also under hood.

Just had a similar problem. Brake (stop) lights and horn didn't work. Couldn't find mention of stop lights in fuse chart. Found horn fuse to be slot 21 in the engine fuse block (not the fuse block in car interior). Replaced 15A fuse and all now ok.

91 accord right hand brake light wont work but left hand does what can it be bulbs are ok

Check for continuity and power at the lamps socket. heat can warp the socket or corrosion.
if there is power and ground do a wiggle check with the wires and the bulb to see if the light comes on, even for a second. If nothing then maybe look at fuse, relay, brake switch, or broken wires.

The ground wire in the trunk area, coming from the brake light harness, might have come off or really loose. Hope this will get your lights working again. Best wishes.
