I need to bypass my air conditioning pump in my 6 cylinder ford on account that it seized up. so what size belt do i need to fit perfectly over 6 pulleys?... a 64 and 5/8's was too big, and a 63 and 1/2 was too small. HEEELP!
Did you remove the air compressor ,and if you did you need to put something in its place for the belt tensioner will not hold tension . it will be easier to just replace the air condition pump or best known as the air compressor with a used one . this is my link to my garagehttps://www.facebook.com/TedsRepairs

Call a Ford parts dept and ask them if you can get a routing diagram they can fax or pick it up thats the best way label take weeks to get in so do that and keep the copy in your car file Please rate my response thank you very much

you can get a A/C Delete kit for a Ford 4.6 liter. the 4.6 v-8 accessory drive system is all the same. You may also be able to run a line of string around the pullys, take it to your local auto parts store and they can match it up. I recomend the kit,

simple trick provided you can do this by running some twine around your pulleys allowing for1-2 inches less for slack adjuster an that will pretty close.or they may have for that system without ac meaning the condenser unit.
