some people just cut a section of the coil springs. While it works it affects the handling of the vehicle and is not exactly legal
The best way is to get the proper springs and have them fitted. If it has leaf springs ,fit lowering blocks under the spring centres.
Hi Jim, The Exhaust Gas Recycle valve is usually mounted on a tappet cover and is connected to the the intake manifold. It has the function of recycling the fumes from the sump and burning them in the combustion chamber. Regards John
You may be referring to the lowering of pressure in your fuel tank. As fuel is used, the pressure in the fuel tank drops to prevent vapours in the tank escaping to atmosphere. Ths is to comply with emission standards. The further you drive, the lower the pressure. When you remove the tank cap, air rushes in which makes you think it's coming out.
the knock sensor on V6 models are threaded into tranny mounting flange just below the oil pressure sending unit. On V8 models it is under the Intake Manifold.
