Had the same exact issues with my 2000 Diesel. Windshield seal was no good, water was getting to electronics. I replaced the windshield and all the problems stopped.
I'd be inclined to check the suspension. Jack vehicle up so wheels hang free & check the mountings, springs/shock absorbers, & sway bar. Also 'bounce' the vehicle at each corner in case a shockie has internal problems,
hey craig
i havent seen any hub problems that would cause this problem
what i would do is remove your shocks and test them you maybe getting poor quality shocks.
and keep a close eye on your tire pressure.
are you getting abnormal tire wear?
The abs control modules on these fail regularly due to breaks in the circuit board solder joints. It could be that hitting the bump make the fault occur. There are places that will repair them, however you will need to remove it, or have it removed and send it to them to fix it, or you can replace it.
Either way, you'll need to get the problem diagnosed first., starting by reading out the faults in all the systems. The transmission, cruise control and speedometer all rely on a vehicle speed sensor signal from the abs module, so that is why so many systems are affected.
Thank's for trying.
