Something has been mis-wired. Ensure the speakers are in the speaker slots and the power (Neg and Pos labeled as well) are properly connected. It is fairly common to get the speaker pos and neg mixed up with the power pos and neg. Hopefully, no permanent damage was done. The problem is between your factory radio and the aftermarket power amp.

I have a blown rear speaker in my 2005 G6 4dr sedan.

From the trunk area. You would need to sort of lay down in the trunk ( Not comfortable! ) and look up at the back deck and you will be able to see where the screws are to drop the speakers down. There may or may not be plastic or insullation that you need to pull down first though. Hope it helps!

Installing 4 after market speakers in my Ford F-350. POS/NEG post

this is actually a quotation from a site on the net as i've wondered about it to

"Speaker wire has a mark or strip on one of the conductors this is to indicate polarity of the wire. When installing speakers to the output of an amplifier you need to observe the proper polarity. This is particularly important when installing a surround sound system with front and rear speakers. If the polarity is not followed then the results will be poor balance of sound and even cancellation of some frequencies."
