Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try

The better way to solve this problem is checking the Service Manual in this link: Section 8W Wiring Diagram (the Relay N°2 for Diesel engine is specifically in the page 155 and next).


In the page 156 you can view zooming this wiring, where appears supply from PDC (Power Distribution Center Fuse 11, 50AMP )...

fuses ok

scan pcm for errors, not all errors glow the silly CEL lamp.

we didnt get diesel until 2010 the
3.0 L VM Motori A 630 DOHC V6 diesel
so what diesel is there?????
what country, you do know that some countries use different diesels right (smog laws tops list for why)

IN USA we open hood, and the tag there clearly states it.
ours as the 4.7L petro, gas engine.

Ive a jeep Grand Cherokee. Im getting power but it will not crank up
no year, no engine size. no joy.
for all I know its diesel.
does it crank over fast.
if yes, does it start, no
if it dont start did you check spark on all spark plugs (gas engine)
if diesel did you check the glow plugs.
does test fuel start car? even for 3 seconds.
if a gas car is the ASD relay dropping out. after running for 2 seconds?

Jeep 2.5L turbo diesel wont start
I had starting problems and found the fuel filter was pulling air through the seal.Replaced fuel filter with genuine Chrysler part and this fixed the problem.

Grand Cherokee a non-starter
Check the glow plug rail, Its easy to do, get a thick electric cable and hold it on the positive side of the battery and then onto the Rail connecting the glow plugs, do this for 20-30 seconds and try to start the engine, or better still get a friend to start the engine while you hold the cable on.
Diesel engines work on heat and compression, so if your glow plugs are weak then you wont get the heat needed to create combustion.
