2007 gmc sierra won't start. Noticed on Sunday (today is Wed) issue with cruise control and seat heater.

Noticed on Sunday that the cruise control button didn't come on, then it did. Same with left front seat heater. Truck worked fine after we got it started with jumper cables and help. Is this just the battery or something more? I have not changed the battery since I bought it.

SOURCE: 2005 GMC Sierra Overheating

If your sure there is no trapped air in system after refill and air bleed off, is fan clutch pulling good air thru radiator? Even if it is, the heater should have coolant as hot as what temp gage is showing! Try backwards flushing heater core (dex cool is notorious for plugging these up). There is a TSB for cracked cylinder heads from GM for unexplained coolant loss.Remove drivers side valve cover, and look at center three head bolts for coolant around them, if coolant has been getting in thru this suspect area, there will be a milky/pudding like goo under valve cover and on head. GM had a company called Castec cast these and the areas near the head bolts were found to be too porous (NO recall YET!) Ya, you guessed it, replace heads! Unfortunately, if its gotten hot to many times, it has probably hurt the heads/gaskets. Hope this helps. PS: The castec logo is under the rearmost pair of rocker arms, may have to remove them to see.

SOURCE: cruise control wont work

normally the brake switch is the issue with these trucks. it is located under the dash where the brake pedal meets the linkage to the brake booster.

SOURCE: 2004 gmc 1500 sierra heater control stuck on

Defrost is the default position. Is the control a autyomatic temperture control unit? ( you set the temp and select automatic) if it is the system is completely electronic. You push the buttons and the control still says defrost or can you select something else and the control shows it but it just keeps coming out the defrost? If the control changes and the air comes out the defrost anyway and the cheack engine light isn't on, then the problem can be blown fuses or an air door actoater not working. Does the dash emit a clicking sound? if it does with the covers off the bottom of the dash reach around touching the different pieces till you touch the idem that is clicking. this is an acutor motor, or blend door motor. they have gears in them that wear out and break the motors aren't repairable and you just replace the ofending motor. the door that is moves can be stuck. and may have to be freed up with blaster, WD40, or other rust buster till it moves easy. maybe after getting the door to move smoothly you can get the old motor to move the door wiithout having to install a new one.

SOURCE: 1990 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. Windshield wipers, Cruise Control

May want to look at replacing the wiper circuit board. It is located on the firewall adjacent to the wiper motor and has a some what square black cover with 3 torx screws and wireing harness pluged into the side.We had a truck that every time you washed it the wipers would stay on until it dryed out.You can try removing it and spaying it down with contact cleaner just watch the brease on the two contact tips.Well hope this helps.

2004 GMC Sierra drivers side seat heater turnes on and off by itself

The seats are powered by a 30amp breaker which includes the circuits for the power motors.
The signal from the control switch goes to a door module then to a memory seat module, then to the heater elements.
It may be easier to disconnect the heating element for now, repairs will need a shop manual to test and trace the circuits.

Crusie control does not work on 2011 gmc sierra 1500 and I've already replaced the switch?

If the switch is replaced, then it can be wiring issue or faulty cruise control board. But as the switch is replaced, get the voltage at the switch tested to confirm the switch is actually receiving voltage. If no voltage received at switch power supply wire then ,apply external 12 volt power to the cruise control switch wire and then see if cruise control comes ON.If yes, then you know wiring is issue.

My brake lights wont turn off even when the truck is and my cruise wont engage either????

Your cruise won't engage because your brake lights are on permanently.
These are on permanently probably because your brake switch is faulty.
It's located near the top of your brake pedal.

High engine idle about 2000 rpms

I would have it checked to make sure no error codes and then suggest only having the IAC it uses checked or serviced-----Idle air control exists in many drive by wire vehicles--have a physical throttle and or cruise control cable-----the start is Google this year model with IAC symptoms.

They get dirty or fail and all sorts of idle issues are possible

95 gmc sierra won't hold steady rpm

Sounds like wiring problems with the engine harness.
The oil pressure not working could cause the hard starting problem.
The idle problem could be a faulty idle air control valve or a vac leak.
I would start with the check engine light and find out what the codes are.

I have 1998 gmc 3/4 ton auto . a.b.s light comes on intermitantly. when it does I also loose my full heater controls and cruise control. new brake switch has been instaled but c'ant see how that would

It is coincidence that your heater control went at the same time your ABS control went out. Try replacing the ABS control and see if that fixes it. Many times because of the electrical complexity you have to just start replacing things until you get it unless you own one very expensive computer.
Look for loose wires. Also try it in reverse if you like. Replace the heater control and see if that fixes it all. Also check ALL fuses.

The drivers power seat and both heaters stopped working in my 2007 gmc 3500..

Check your fuses , check Maxi fuses under your hood and also check your wires under the seats, making sure that they are not pinched or worn out.

2005 GMC Sierra 1500 heated mirror stopped heating

I do not see a separate fuse for the heaters, so you have power thru the 25 amp breaker. You will, have to pull the panel up or access the mirror connector to trace power to the elements. Not sure which is easier. I have pasted all of the relevant diagrams.
Likely failure modes are open heating element and failed heater switch.
