About the 2003 corolla leak

Hi, I have the same problem with my 2003 corolla. Did the solution post on fixYa solve your problem? I wen to toyota dealer and checked my car, they told me that I have a leak somewhere around windsheld, and quote me $500 to fix that. That's too much, and I'd like to know if the "condensate drain tube" is your issue, and how did you fix that. How much that cost you.

thank you so much!

I went to the dealer the other day, and the dealer told me that there is a leak around the firewall, which i don't quite understand. They quote $500 to seal that, and I think it is too much for me. I got response from Toyota Ed, and he suggest to check the condensate tube too. I will try and see if I will be able to locate the problem. Thank you for your response and good luck to you!

I checked my condensate tube and it didn't seem to be the source of the leak. I have yet to figure it out or send it to the repair shop.

The condensation drain tube is at the bottom of the ac box and runs out onto the road
it could be a rust patch in the chamber under the screen or that chamber drain is blocked from leaves and dirt so check that out first

SOURCE: Water leak on the passenger rug for 2003 Corolla

well if you have water or coolant leaking on to the rug in your car, first you must remember that every car has 2 radiators. One for the Engine which is in the front of your car under the hood and one for your heater, which is usually hidden deep behind the dash inside of your car. So if you are leaking fluids on to the rug in the car; Im 90% sure its going to be something dealing with the heater radiator. What you have to do is find out where your heater radiator is on your car and check all the hoses.

My 2003 toyota corolla has "ILock" security system

The dealer would have to hook it up to there programmer to allow the immobilizer to enter into a reset mode and then they could reprogram your key/s or if you've lost them to replace and program the new ones. The default or master code is in Toyota's database and they would need your vin to get the correct code to unlock your vehicle.

Where is the fuse box on a 2003 Toyota Corolla?

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

The fusebox for an 03 Corolla is on the driver's side of the dash, above the plastic panel that is above your knees. You can see it by looking up and to the left, under the instrument pane, with a flashlight. It is a rather large white or cream-coloured box (depending on where the car was produced). An easier way to get to the fuses would be to remove the plastic trim panel that is directly under the bottom of the instrument panel.

I have an engine light on to my Toyota Corolla 2003; diagnosed by the autozone OBD11 SCANNER P420. I replaced the oxygen sensor and the light deleted. After driving the car for 30 miles the light came on...

Hi

The trouble areas associated with this code are as follows:
1)Gas leakage on exhaust system
2)Oxygen sensor
3)Heated oxygen sensor
4)Three–way catalytic converter

The idea is to check for exhaust leaks first then the front sensor and rear sensor. If these all check out then the cat needs to be replaced.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using fixYa
