NO DASH LIGHTS ON MY 1997 FORD ESCORT, BUT RADIO LIGHTS UP
THE RADIO WORKS AND LIGHTS UP BUT THERE ARE NO DASH LIGHTS. MY DAUGHTER JUST GOT THIS FOR A SCHOOL CAR AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. COULD IT BE A FUSE IF SO WHICH ONE ??

Found these two fuses. Not only check the fuses, use a test light and check voltage on fuse circuit, one is hot all the time. The other goes hot with key on.
Ground wire is important, also, ground wire is usually black in color.
check your fuses if all are good check the light or lights in your instrument panel if good use a test light to see if yorr getting power to the lights hope this helps
Looks like your park light/headlight switch assembly is FAULTY!
Burned and shorted contactors inside the switch made those lights turned on, better bring that to ur nearest garage electrician to replace or fix it!

CAN YOU REMOVE THE RADIO FROM DASH IF YOU CAN ALL I NEED IS THE SERIAL NO. HICH STARTS WITH A M & 6 DIGIT NO. AFTER THAT GET ME THAT I WILL SUPPLY CODE.
Check to make sure that there's power from the alternator to the battery on the charge-back wire. If nothing's there, then your alternator is junk and you'll have to replace it again.
