SOURCE: Need to replace tail light bulb on 1996 Buick Century

Inside the trunk, under the carpet behind the tail lights will be a whole bunch of small plastic nuts, running from one side of the car to the other. Take all of these plastic nuts off, and the whole tail light assembly will come off in one large piece. Find the bulb you need to replace, and reassemble

SOURCE: Need to know roughly how long it would take to

Depends on your level of experience, quality of your tools and whether or not you have any frozen head bolts. The valve assembly and head come off as one unit on those. To clear the wires, emmision controls ect off of the top of the valve cover 30 minutes. remove valve cover 5 minutes (too scrape off excess gasket material. to remove exhaust manifold from side of head, (assuming no broken/stuck/stripped bolts 15 minutes with good hydraulic tools. To remove head (assuming all goes well and hydraulic tools, 15 minutes. To reassemble, double all times as surfaces need to be prepped and gaskets applied and proper torque on all bolts. It's an afternoon job if you ahve everything you need and nothing goes wrong. Typically add at least two or three hours of drilling and cursing to a head gasket replacement. and a trip for new drill bits and a tap (not beer) for the new hole you drilled.

What does that mean when my 1993 buick century jerks.. when i stop at a light then go it jerks

Your transmission is most likely slipping, you can get anti slip fluid at your local parts store, be sure not to overfill, you may be low on transmission fluid check the level. If this does'nt help there could be significant damage to the transmission. Motor mounts can have the same affect you can have your local mechanic inspect them. Usually a mechanic will check the motor mounts for little or no charge.

How do I replace the fan blower?

GM Celebrity/Century/Ciera/6000 1982-1996 Repair Guide

Blower Motor - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

This procedure is applicable for vehicles, with or without air conditioning.
  1. Disconnect the negative cable at the battery.
  2. On the 3.1L (VIN M) you will need to remove the serpentine belt and move the alternator aside.
  3. For the 2.2L (VIN 4), disconnect the air inlet resonator, then remove the torque strut from the engine. Rotate the engine slightly forward.
  4. Working inside the engine compartment, disconnect the blower motor electrical leads.
  5. Remove the motor retaining bolts. If there is a hose disconnect it, then remove the blower motor.
To install:
  1. Position the blower motor on it's mount.
  2. Install the mounting bolts and tighten until snug.
  3. Attach the drain hose if removed, then engage the electrical connection to the motor.
  4. On the 2.2L (VIN 4), properly position the engine and install the torque strut to the engine. Connect the air inlet resonator.
  5. On the 3.1L (VIN M), install the alternator, if removed. Install the serpentine belt.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable, tighten the cable bolt to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).
  7. Reset the radio, clock and any other applicable electronic devices.

Can I change the shift solenoid 1-2 (code P0753) 1997 Buick Century. Where is it located?

The shift solinoids are mounted to the valve body which is behind the side cover of the transmission. Usually you have to lower the trans to remove the side cover, which envolves lowering the subframe. If you drop the subframe the steering rack must be disconnected and the engine must be held from above because most of the motor/trans mounts are on the subframe

Replace the engine motor mounts and the transmission mount. Would like to know how to do it. Thanks.

Check the frame mounts too. You will have to loosen the bolts and jack the motor up with a jack and a woodblock.
