I need to know which fuse would control the heater blower for my 2004 Ford explorer I do not have a diagram and would like to find one I can print out and put in my car for future referance.

CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.SEE IF POWER GOING TO BLOWER MOTOR YOU HAVE FAULTY BLOWER MOTOR.IF BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY OKAY.IF NO POWER GOING TO BLOWER MOTOR BUT POWER AT AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH. BLOWER MOTOR HAS POOR GROUND OR AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD.
The heater blower fues is number 107 and is a 40amp orange maxi fuse. The manual can be found below. Page 198 shows the fuse number, page 196 has the diagram of the fuse block.
If this occurs in all positions, check fuse, check for power at the fan motor, if power in all positions replace motor. if no power at fan and fuse is good, check blower motor resistor and blower motor control switch. Replace as required
The blower motor is located under the hood on the passengers side next to the hood hinge on the firewall. But, check your blower motor resistor first. The resistor is usually the trouble maker. It is located next to the blower motor. It should have 2 screws holding it onto the heater housing. Also an electrical connector. I sincerely hope that this will get it working again. that cliking you hear is most likely the heater relay. but i don't think thats it, i would be checking to see if there is a resister, for the blower motor, it should be someware around the blower motor along with the relay in the same place. it will be on the heater box held in with a couple of screws, and a plug going to it with 4 or 5 wires.when they go bad, blower may only work on one or two speeds or not at all.
If the blower is totaly not working it could be a bad motor or a loss of power (or ground) to the motor. There is a blower motor relay on the power distribution box on the right innner fender. There may be a fuse for the heater circuit, also. Power also goes through a blower motor resister that controls blower speeds. If any one of these are bad it will (can) cause the blower motor to not work. I would first check all your fuses. If you have the ability to check for power continuity (with a test light or multimeter) I would check to see if the motor is even getting power. It is also possible that your heater control switch is not sending power to the relay. Electrical can be hard to track sometimes. Good Luck.
