Oil leak from bottom of engine seems to be coming from front of engine, had oil pan gasket replace but did not resolve problem, any ideas where leak is coming from?
Dear Sir,
Here is the oil leaking Problem Identifying Technique
Engine oil leaks from the valve cover gasket are common.
I think it helps to analyse u r Problem
Crankshaft seal in timing chain cover
Best to degrease the engine then look for oil leaks, Check front crank shaft seal, cam shaft seal, valve cover seal, rear crank shaft seal, transmission oil cooler lines, oil pressure switch. power steering lines, rack and pinion steering boots.
Your "timing cover gasket" is leaking, check for loose bolts first,
if they are tight than the gasket is bad, common occurrence .

most likely front cover o-ring. there is a small $4 dollar o ring behind the front engine cover, that leaks. Pretty common problem on your car.

have you smashed the sump ??never seen one leak yet?? sure its not the front or rear end oil seals ??..sounds like you have the sub frame in the way ,evan if you remove this bolt you will not be able to drop the sump without removing or lowering the sub frame assembly as the oil pick up pipe stops you from removing the sump in situe. Its not difficult to drop sub frame just time consuming

Take the car to a car wash and power wash the engine. Do this ONLY with a cold engine. And be prepared to have problems with it starting as water get's into the electrical components. Take some WD-40 with you to spray inside distributor caps, on spark wiring, etc. to get the engine running again.
Then check the engine weekly to see where the oil is coming from.
