Question about 1997 Acura TL Series
Engine not stable when idle
This means that misfire has or occurs in different cylinders. Fuel is not ignited at the correct time. Try to see if higher fuel resolves the issue. If not go check the timing of the engine or you may have to inspect the distributor it may have gone bad.

with out being there to check the spark plugs i would have to say start there. most of the common causes for misfire codes especially randoms are the plugs and wires. good luck

Sounds like a bad PCV valve or bad EGR valve. replace the PCV valve ( about $10) locate and watch the EGR valve .. it should move up and down when you rev the engine.. spray the shaft with WD40 if its sluggish or stuck.. it may help.

This is strange. The tcs is a traction controll error. If you are getting misfire codes and traction control warnings, then I would have your control module tested to make sure it is not having intermittent power issues to each component.
