When starting the spark and injectors seem to work for about 2 seconds and then stop dead. As if they are being switched off by the ECM.
With a screwdriver to the injectors I can hear three distinct clicks then nothing . With the distributor center lead near to earth I see a distinct burst of sparks then nothing . With two plugs removed and grounded I see two sparks one after the other then nothing.

what it seems to me if your losing injector pulse is
-crank sensor
- or communication BUS between the ECU/PCM
-why crank sensor because it gives a signal for when that tells the PCM when
it should send fuel
-BUS communication because if its not getting a good signal then it doesn't know where
the crank is in position to the camshaft
SOURCE: No power to the spark plugs
Check first the wire connections to your ignition unit. Are they properly plugged? If all wires are good, try to measure the voltage from one of the wires to the ignition unit while the ignition key is in "on" position. If there's no voltage, have someone check your ECM. If there's a good voltage reading, try replacing your ignition unit with a good one.
SOURCE: engine doesn't start. Fuel, fuses, spark plugs,
have you tried checking compression? fuel and spark are good but if theres no compression you wont have anything

A code 6 is an RPM missing signal. Your distributor coil circuit is open (or could be the coil).Check continuity with a volt meter.Check the blue/yel wire and the white one for cracks or broken, and if possible trace them to the computer for continuity. This malfuntion is a code 6 BUT car should start even so. Now to the injectors:check pulsating ground from computer,if not check wiring,if they are OK,try another computer.
Testimonial: "I already figured it out, but you did guess it correctly so I figured I would try to help your score. It was the ECM."

If you had a bunch of cracks in your distributor cap it may have caused the pick up coil under the distributor cap to go bad and cause this problem.
