Motor turns over but will n ot start - 2000 Dodge Intrepid

check the wire from the starter to the ignition switch as ot requires power from the switch in the start position to energize the solenoid of the starter.

turn headlight on - either with another person or facing a wall.
try starting. If lights dim it is a bad battery ot connection to the battery.
If not it is in ur starter ckt - relay, starter motor, starter solinoid.

hi the park circuit of u r wiper motor doesnt function either bad ground ot the motor or it has to be replaced the wiper module comes with the motor danny

wow hard to say maby you missed a minus cable or bad connection some times ot sensor this gives the impulse for spark timing start the car turn it off wont start?disconnect battery wait 10mins try again if it starts may be ot sensor ive also seen this problem with the onbord comp"

it sounds like starter motor ot the wiring to the starter motor. iff they are both ok check the earth strap going to the engine and the gearbox

You might have a clogged fuel pump located in the top on the gas tank near the rear of the car

backfireing in the coolant system is a sign your head gasket is blown or cracked block or head. Do a compression test ot confirm the integrity of the engine

the alternator may of went bad and stopped charging so the car died when the battery went dead. Charge the battery and test to start with. Are you saying wont turn over ot turns over and wont start. If it turns over and wont start then it could be several things. Will need to get it diagnosed to be sure

If you hear a click, It sounds like a starter motor ot a bad ground.
Have someone tap the starter solenoid while you are trying to start it. If it starts, you will need a starter motor. Be very careful not to break or make contact with positive terminal as you may get shocked.,

pinion gear or gearbox damaged. Replace.
