Horn hardly used, goes now and again but very faint

Pop the hood and look in the engine compartment for the horn (they usually look like a small megaphone). If you can see a wire(s) that are attached to the horn, check for a loose connection/broken wire/corrosion, etc. along as much of the wire(s) that you can see. I suggest this because sometimes if the connection is loose/corroded the horn will sound weird or not as loud. Good luck.

Where is the thermostad situated on a 2003 1.4 corolla?

Location of the Thermostat

Open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. Locate the radiator in the front of the engine compartment. There are two hoses that run off the radiator. The bottom hose runs to the water pump and is where the coolant is pushed into the radiator and moves up through the ridges to allow time to cool off. The top hose is the hose that runs to the thermostat housing. Follow the top radiator hose to where it is clamped to the motor and you will notice a housing that the hose is clamped to. The housing can be opened with a socket wrench. This housing contains the thermostat. You may need to remove the radiator hose to access it. Unscrew the hose clamp and pull the hose off the assembly. Once the housing is opened you can pull the thermostat out with your fingers.

No sound from car alarm 99 corolla

horns if not used to full intent can seize up, and stop working, if you remove the horn and give it a good spray of oil and rust cleaner it might bring it back to life. try not to move the adjuster screw on the horn as this can change the sound and then it will not work properly. or just replace with another horn, they fairly cheap to replace.

2005 toyota corolla horn doesn't work

You can replace the horn. Check to see if the wires connected to the horn have power. Check with a test light. If power is present then the horns are bad.

I bought replacement horms for my 2002 Camry from a local junk yard. What they actually sold me was just the "horns" without the plastic housing; these were from a 2002 Corolla. How can I...

if you don`t see the diaphram of the horn and its covered(steel cover) then i don`t think you have to have the plastic cover on the horns, they will work just fine the way they are.

the easiest way to solve this is to replace the whole fuse block or if you cant afford that you could try higher amp fuses but i dont reccomend it long term

Horn wont stop blowing in 1987 mustang

Ford horns are famous for this disconnect the black ground wire from the horn front of vehicle next to radiator. This will stop it for noe you will need to replace the horn all the parts houses have them. Good Luck
