It sounds like the system is fried. Based on the description, it is just pulling in the outside air and not doing anything to heat or cool the flow. Unfortunately, this is a job for your preferred mechanic.

The heater blows hot air when in cool position on a 98 olds bravada

AC not working?

on a hot day it will blow warm/hot air if the AC is turned off or not working

If its hot air and AC is working then i would start by checking the fuse or relay. if its not the fuse/relay then i would look into the heater box there is a door that blocks the hot air

My climate contol on a 98 olds bravada stopped working. The interior control panel will not light up and it is constantly blowing cold air. I had the fuse checked and they are fine. Any one have any ideas

The entire control panel is notorious for shorting out - thats why they are very hard to find at junk yards - very easy to replace - dash faceplate has to be removed and then just a few screws - unplug and replace.

Dual cloimeate control blows hot on one side and

you have to get a new control panel which cost usually around 800 dollars. Mine is the same way but i haven't got it fixed i just took out the glove box and kept the switch to tell the motor to make it hot or cold air and put a screw in it and have it held on hot for the winter then ill taker it out in the summer and have it blow cold air

98 buick century , with auto climate control ,

is it HOT or just not as cold. If its HOT, like heated air, there is a door problem, if its just not cool, the a/c refridgerent is low and will need a recharge, most likely the comp is leaking.

No heat unless set at max temp. setting.

Hey Summers,, Are you running the A/C with the temperature set at max heat?? If yes. STOP... the A/C is for COLD air..As far as the fan speeds not working....you may have a fan switch that is going bad..(my vehicle is doing this!)..
