Question about 1995 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight

1 Answer

My 1995 olds ninety-eight spins several times before initial start-up. if you turn it off and then restart, it starts up immediately, like it should?

This ninety-eight does have a super charger. does this matter?

SOURCE: blower motor stays on even with key out 1994 olds

You need a blower motor resistor. If you have automatic temp control be prepared to spend a few dollars getting one. They put the resistor under the fuse panel by the firewall.

You can take the egr solenoid apart and clean the bottom of the solenoids to fix it. A failed egr valve will not keep it from starting. Check the fuel pressure, should be around 40.

The hood of a 1991 oldsmobile ninety will not open

the easiest way is to strip the end of the original cable and pull the cable to open the hood. if not you have to raise the car and try to reach the hood latch and open if from there.
